UGA Biomembranes Engineering

Welcome to the Biomembranes Engineering page at the University of Georgia in the College of Engineering!

The focus of this lab is on the development and characterization of biomimicking membranes (both lipid and polymer) and examining their applications in engineering materials.

Current topics include the development of a cellular-mimicking material, characterizing the interactions between nanoparticles and biological membranes, thin film characterization, and droplet mechanics.  For more information, please visit our Research page.
